Laundry in the city
We finally got to have a little fun with our windows this year. The city backdrop was made from foam core and we "painted" the buildings with black electrical tape and some marker.
They Might Be Giants played a concert in the courtyard just outside these windows the weekend that we did these, so we put in a little reference to them on the detergent bottles. Click on the image for a closer peek.

More fun ahead!
WOW! The excitement just isn't stopping this year. We found out friday evening that we have been accepted into the Plaza Art Fair. The competition for this show is outrageous, really didn't expect to get in. We had recently started looking into getting a new tent for outdoor shows but this definitely makes up our mind, we need a new tent indeed!
This show is one month after our New York show so we can use the cool new tables that we are planning to build for the NY set-up. Bryan came up with an idea that will turn our crate(that we are shipping everything in) into two 6ft. tables. We are now designing the lights that attach to one of the tables. Went through the hardware store yesterday to see if they had everything we needed.
Well, I need to get into the studio a bit today and finish up a red bird necklace and figure out my next metal/tool order.

Enough!!!
Our e-mail was out for three days this week, so annoying! This has been happening way too often this past year. So, we've decided to finally find a new web hosting provider. We want 24 hour IT help over the phone and the ability to someday expand our web site with a shopping cart. Do you use such a service that you would recommend? Please tell us about them!
Thanks in advance for your help!!

Whew!
I can finally take a breather, but just a quick one! The Brookside Art Annual was this past weekend, we lucked out and had wonderful weather all three days. The crowd wasn't as large as years' past but it was fun to do none the less, and boy did it wear me out.We had great neighbors on either side of us and met lots of nice people. We hope to be fortunate enough to get juried in to next years show as well.
For all of you who came out and stopped to chat with us we really appreciate it and I will get my online shop loaded up with goodies throughout the week. I wrote down several new ideas while we were out there and can't wait to get started on these designs!
Bryan and I both took Monday off from work to re-coop a bit but are both still extremely tired today as well. We actually did a little work for the next big show while we were home yesterday. We stopped by the UPS store to get some ideas on packing up our booth that we will be shipping to New York in August. Also, started doing some hotel research.
I am glad to be blogging again after such a break and look forward to catching up with all my fellow bloggers!
